Slower Cooker Mini Chicken Sausage Pineapple appetizer

These mini chicken sausages are so yummy…  I love them!! :)

I can’t stop eating them..I have decided that I will only make it on a very special day.

You only need four ingredients to make it. You don’t need to do any chopping or additional preparations either.  Just before serving add pineapple chunks, heat through and serve.

Mmm~ just looking at this photo makes my mouth water… and want to make them again.

Mini Chicken Sausage Pineapple Appetizer 

2 lbs chicken sausages

1 cup BBQ sauce

1/2 cup sweet orange marmalade or 유자차 Yujacha(citron tea)

1/4 cup pineapple juice

1 can (20 oz) pineapple chucks, drained(reserved 1/4 cup juice)

In a medium bowl, combine bbq sauce, marmalade, and juice. Mix well.

In a slow cooker, place mini chicken sausages.

Pour over the sausages; stir to coat.

Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.

Stir in pineapple chunks.

Cook until pineapple chunks are heated through, about 10 -15 minutes.

Careful not to overcook pineapple chunks though, they didn’t taste nor look too good when I left them too long.

Serve with wooden skewers or tooth picks. They even tasted good with rice…^^
