Aahhh~Our little girl turned fifteen years old.
We celebrated Sheena’s 15th Birthday yesterday… it was a special reason for everyone to gather at our house again!! We had a pleasant and cozy night. We even had special guests, Yoel and Lydia. They came with Audrey’s family. Thank you for coming.

Since kids started school, I have been making their lunches…Everyday.

They survived the first day of school! :) I can’t believe Sheena is now a high school student…. She was nervous and worried all last night and this morning. When she returned from school, she looked as though she did just fine at school. And we celebrated that. “I am a bit excited yet little nervous about this year.” said Ryan last night. Ryan and Sheena took summer cooking classes at the Whole Foods Market. Although the class was a bit large and crowded in my opinion, the price was reasonable and it was good opportunity to learn and tryout unique food. (more…)
We had an incredibly busy Saturday…… Zachary attended Audrey’s church’s VBS since Thursday night and finished this afternoon. Today, Sheena highlighted her hair and got a new cut. Ryan got a new hair cut as well… Both hubby and I ran the longest run in two years. With such a busy schedule ahead…I had to get up at 5:00 am to do my run. (more…)

One night…I spent about good four hours making these lunch boxes for my three kids… They look simple enough but it always takes a lot more time than anticipated….while leaving a huge messy kitchen. By the time I was done with the lunches, I absolutely had no desire to clean up.
