I was completely touched by Zachary’s surprise gift on this Mother’s day.  While everyone slept the night before, he stayed up late making me the most special parfait.  In the morning when I saw how much creativity, planning, and love went into making this parfait…I couldn’t stop crying. (more…)

Zachary’s class went on a field trip to San Francisco Academy of Science on January 30 ,2012.

It was  one of the most pleasant and beautiful trips so far. I was assigned to chaperone a wonderful group of kids, Justin, Rio, Matthew, Malikla and Zachary.. Not only did the kids have a great time there,they also made my time so much more enjoyable and memorable. (more…)

I would like to introduce our newest family member~ ROY KIM~

I’m Zachary Kim and my dream was to have my own pet turtle, cause I love turtles, they’re my favorite animals, and about two weeks ago, my wish was granted. However, I didn’t get a turtle, instead I got a tortoise.  I learned that aquatic turtles need more room to swim, which is irritating having to clean the terrarium, and furthermore we would have to feed him protein food, like gold fish and crickets…. Finally I get to post Zachary’s science camp trip… A couple weeks ago, Zachary and his entire 5th graders went to Walden West for five days… Monday thru Friday. Wow! it was such a long five days for hubby and me….. A couple of times I got a bit teary… although I knew he will be fine.. I missed him.  When Zach returned… our house became brighter and happier place again. (more…)

Since kids started school, I have been making their lunches…Everyday.

I normally pack lunches for the kids for the first few days until they get used to the new school year.  However, this year kids politely asked me to pack lunches for them everyday so far. (more…)
